Who We Are
The Newfoundland and Labrador Minerals Collective (NL Minerals Collective) comprises a group of prospectors, explorers and mining-industry experts partnering to advance their respective and collective properties and to deliver fairer value and better benefits to the members. Members are primarily focused on the mining-friendly jurisdiction of Newfoundland and Labrador. Participation in the collective entails no obligation beyond a commitment to following fair and sustainable mining and exploration practices and full transparency with all involved parties when making property sales and partnership deals.
Member Participation
Member Benefits
Through such an alliance, members of the collective have the opportunity to access marketing, communications and business development skills to drive more visibility for their properties and services. Members also receive access to templates for property fact sheets, investor desks, contract and deal structure examples and other valuable tools. Member listings and communication channels provide a showcase for properties and mineral focus and/or services for hire.
Key Minerals
The Island of Newfoundland represents an emerging, underexplored gold district. Gold has been mined from epithermal (gold-copper) and orogenic (gold-only) deposits, and as a by-product in several volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) operations. Production from orogenic and VMS deposits is continuing, and a number of new advanced projects are targeting similar deposit styles. Ongoing exploration is also directed at both high- and low-sulphidation epithermal deposits.
Despite large exploration expenditures in Labrador since 1995, much of this vast territory remains significantly underexplored. The best potential for further discoveries is within the mafic rocks of gabbroic to troctolitic composition, particularly where these have intruded the sulphide-bearing Tasiuyakgneiss or similar rocks.
Newfoundland and Labrador has one of the largest undeveloped Rare Earth Elements (REE) deposits on the planet. The province is enriched with valuable, heavy REE and critical minerals that are needed for sustainable technologies of the future.

Mineral Resources
There are significant Nickel-Copper-Cobalt projects with deposits, prospects and showings available across Newfoundland and Labrador, including properties directly adjacent to Vale's Voisey's Bay Bi-Cu-Co Mine and other properties that were previously operating mines.
District-scale Uranium projects are available in the Central Uranium Belt (CMB) of Labrador, a belt also including significant copper and hundreds of showings of silver, gold, REE, iron and molybdenum. Smaller scale Uranium projects are available on the island of Newfoundland.
There are several significant gold trends across the island of Newfoundland, most notably the New Found Gold Trend. Significant property is available for sale or joint venture in this area. Additional there is property for option in the Labrador South Central Aucoin trend.
